Christian Books

There are many different genres of Christian books, but typically they are books with a Christian theme that are ultimately faith-affirming. This can include studies about the Bible, printed sermons, or fiction with a Christian message.

Christian bookstores are interspersed throughout the United States. In addition to the kinds of books listed above, Christian bookstores will often feature different versions and translations of the Bible, and sell other forms of Christian media such as magazines and movies.

As with other types of books, there are a number of sub-genres of Christian books, from inspirational to fiction to thrillers. What links them together is their Christian theme. Popular Christian books include The Shack by William P. Young, For the Tough Times by Max Lucado, and the Left Behind series by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins.
